Overview
Mobius was the very first attempt in the company to establish a design system for the company. It was a comprehensive design system that included a component library, design tokens, and guidelines for mobile applications.
Context
Rara Labs has always believed in complementing its web-based ERP products with equally robust mobile applications. Recognizing that a fragmented or inconsistent mobile interface could undermine user trust and efficiency, I initiated the development of Mobius.
My Role
Learning from Tigg Design System designed for mobile application, I led the team to create a component and pattern library for supplementary mobile applications for fintech ERP products.
What it Established
It established a common component library for designers and frontend developers to quikcly develop UI for applications.
Additonally, it set a pattern guide for frontend developers and backend developers to develop commonly used UI patterns like authentication, forms, tables, list, etc.
Outcome
Defined a visual language, deisgn guide, and component library for enterprise mobile applications.
It acted as a supplementary to RUDE enterprise design system.
